The Colorado Avalanche Information Center published the following video that takes a look at a large natural avalanche that destroyed an unoccupied house in Peru Creek near Montezuma, Colorado on January 10, 2017. The slide ran 2000’ vertical feet down the Maid Of Orlean slide path. It destroyed a house and a restored structure that had been in the same location since 1880!
