Avalanche Hits Army Outpost And Kills 3 Soldiers In Jammu & Kashmir In India

Kashmir, India – On Friday, February 2, 2018 an avalanche struck an army outpost at Sona Pandi Gali in Machil near the Line Of Control in the Kupwara district in Jammu & Kashmir in India.

Four soldiers were missing after the avalanche hit the Army outpost. A rescue was initiated immediately. Three of the soldiers were killed and one was injured.

The victims were identified as Havaldar Kamlesh Singh, 39, Naik Balveer, 33 and Sepoy Rajinder, 25.
