Beldersay, Uzebekistan – On Monday, December 24, 2018 three skiers were killed in an avalanche near Beldersay Ski Area in the Bostanlyk district of Tashkent in northeastern Uzbekistan.
The skiers were skiing in a closed area when they were caught in the avalanche at around 16:00. Rescuers located and recovered the victims, ages 19, 24 & 24, several hours later.
