Vratna, Slovakia – On Wednesday, January 9, 2019 37-year-old Michal “Pablo” Paulovič was killed in an avalanche on Velký Kriváň near Vrata in the Mala Fatra mountain range in Slovakia.
Paulovič, a well-known snowboarder and skateboarder, was riding with friends when the avalanche occurred. His partners responded immediately and alerted authorities. They located and extracted the man, but unfortunately, the man did not survive.
