
Les Deux Alpes, France – On Tuesday, January 29, 2019 two skiers were killed in an avalanche while skiing off piste near Les Deux Alpes near Saint-Christophe-en-oisans in Isere, France.
The avalanche measured 200 meters long and 50 meters wide. The avalanche was witnessed and rescuers with dogs were mobilized quickly. One of the skiers was buried for an hour and died on the scene. The other skier succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
