The men were found buried in snow in the nearby forests in the Mushkidajan area. They had gone into the forests to collect firewood (although some accounts say that they were collecting animal fodder). Around 2 PM a large crack alerted locals of an avalanche and they immediately went to investigate.

After several hours of searching by locals and by police, the bodies were recovered using shovels. The avalanche victims were identified as Mohammad Yousuf (22) son of Ghulla Gojar and Mohammad Yousuf (32) son of Jumma Ahmad.

We will try to update this post if more information becomes available.
