Snow Removers Are Caught In Russian Roof Avalanche While Working On A 5-Story Building In Lenske
Yukatia Republic, Russia – Four men were swept off of a roof by an avalanche in an urban area in Lenske on the afternoon of March 3, 2016. Check out the short video of the Russian roof avalanche below:
According to RT.com, the men were shoveling snow on the roof of a five-story building when the roof avalanche caught 3 of the 4 men. Two of the men caught hold of the roof skirting while the 3rd man’s safety cable broke and he went all the way to the ground. He landed in snow with a broken leg and was taken to the hospital.
They were trying to earn money for International Women’s Day – a long weekend in Russia. They were going to make 3000 rubles for cleaning the roof – roughly $41.
