- Andes Slammed With Snow. Major Pass Closed For 15 Days. Largest Storm Since 1996. – A Mountain Journey – A massive storm dropped over 13 feet of snow on the Andes earlier this month. It sounds like it’s time to go skiing!

- Human Remains Found Near Snoqualmie Pass Identified As Missing Backcountry Skier – A Mountain Journey – In December 2015, backcountry skier Monty Busbee went missing in Washington. His body was found and identified this week. Hopefully this brings closure to a sad situation.
