Mount St. Helens, Washington – On Friday, April 21, 2017, 42-year-old Aaron Sales ascended Mount St. Helens using a snow kite in 35 minutes. This is the first time anyone has ever done this and it is the fastest non-motorized ascent of the mountain.

Sales covered 3200 vertical feet in just 35 minutes – going from treelike to crater rim in perfect weather conditions. It took 10 years to make this happen. Way to go!
