In 2017, KSL and Aspen joined forces and purchased numerous resorts in the ski industry. Their new company is called Alterra Mountain Company and they now control 12 premier destination ski resorts in North America. Everyone’s been patiently waiting for their new super pass to drop and it’s finally here. Enter the Ikon Pass.

The 18/19 Ikon Pass will rival Vail Resorts’ Epic Pass by uniting 23 resorts in 9 US States and 3 Canadian Provinces – 12 of those resorts are owned and operated by Alterra Mountain Company and 11 are premier destination partners. According to BusinessWire.com, the Ikon Pass will offer “pass privileges that range from full unlimited access to a set number of days that vary by destination.” Full details will be announced soon.
