Colorado – On September 17, 2017, Alyson Kirk of Lakewood, Colorado accomplished an impressive mountaineering feat in the high country of Colorado. Kirk became the second woman ever to climb all of Colorado’s summits over 12,000 feet. Congrats!
To accomplish this cooll mountain project, Kirk climbed 1313 Colorado summits. That includes 676 12ers, 584 13ers, and 53 14ers. According to numerous sources, only 7 people have ever tagged all of those summits. This elite club includes:
