Pyrenees Mountains, Spain – On March 22, 2018 two people were killed in an avalanche near the southern end of the Vielha Tunnel in the Conangles area of the Aran Valley near the Baqueira-Beret Ski Resort in the Pyrenees Mountains of Catalonia in northeastern Spain.

A third member of the group was seriously injured and transported to the hospital.
