Steiermark, Austria – On January 27, 2019 a 63-year-old ski tourer was killed in an avalanche near Großer Schober in Steiermark in Austria.

The ski tourer was skiing alone at the time of the incident. When he did not return at the end of the day, his wife alerted authorities.
