Styria, Austria – On January 15, 2019 a roof avalanche killed a 57-year-old man at Kleinsolk in St. Nikolai in the Solktal in the Schladminger Tauern in Styria, Austria.
The man was cleaning a roof of snow when the accident occurred. The roof avalanche swept the man off of the roof. The man’s son found his father and reported the accident to authorities. Unfortunately the man did not survive.
