Avalanche Kills Skier On Meniggrat In Bern, Switzerland

Bern, Switzerland – On February 2, 2019 a skier was killed in an avalanche on the 1949-meter Meniggrat near the Zwischenflüh in Diemtigen in the canton of Bern in Switzerland.

The avalanche occurred on the descent. Rescuers responded.

SLF.ch notes that this avalanche occurred on 2019-02-02 at Meniggrat in Bern. The slide occurred at 1760-meters on a north aspect. Two people were caught. One was buried and killed.
