Pemberton, British Columbia – On Wednesday, March 28, 2018 a 49-year-old female heli-ski guide was caught, buried, and killed in an avalanche while leading a group of clients in the South Creek backcountry area northwest of Pemberton, British Columbia in Canada.
According to VancouverSun.com, “Whistler Blackcomb confirmed the victim was a resort employee who was guiding a group of guests when the avalanche occurred.”
The guide was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead. No one else was injured in the incident.
