Avalanche Kills Snowmobiler On Bjelasica Near Kolasin, Montenegro

Bjelasica, Montenegro – On January 22, 2018 a snowmobiler was killed in an avalanche in the Krivog Dolov area on Bjelasica about 2.5 kilometers away from the ski slopes of the Kolasin Ski Center in Montenegro.

Rescuers arrived quickly and located the snowmobiler. He was transported to the hospital via helicopter. Unfortunately the man died from the injuries sustained in the avalanche while at the hospital.

Numerous sources identified the victim as 48-year-old Petar Lučić from Budva.
