Eastern Afghanistan – After days of heavy snow in the mountains of eastern Afghanistan, 13 people have been killed by avalanches in multiple incidents.

On November 17, 2017 an avalanche killed 10 people – mostly women and children – near Bahadar village in the Chapa Dara District in the eastern Kunar province of Afghanistan.
