- Scott Jurek Accepts Plea Deal – Outside Online – After Scott Jurek, crushed the Appalachian Trail Speed Record in July, he was fined for drinking at the celebration on top of Mount Katahdin. This is his punishment.
- Tamarack Resort Reopening Closed Terrain – Powder – Idaho’s Tamarack Resort will reopen 100 acres as hike-to terrain for the upcoming season.
