- Indian Soldier Survives 6 Days Buried 25 Feet Deep In Avalanche Debris After Avalanche Hits Military Outpost In Kashmir (UPDATED) – A Mountain Journey – An Indian soldier survived six days buried under 25′ of snow at over 6,000 meters on the Siachen Glacier in the Himalaya. Unfortunately he died of his injuries after reaching the hospital.
