- Italian Hotel Destroyed by Avalanche | Up To 30 People Missing – A Mountain Journey – An avalanche struck the Hotel Rigopiano near Farindola Italy. Days later, rescuers are still pulling people out of the debris. The New York Times says rescuers have found 11 people alive and 5 dead. Authorities believe 23 are still missing.
