Graham Bell Sets World Record For Fastest Towed Speed On Skis


Arjeplog, Sweden – On March 7, 2017 British Olympian Graham Bell put on skis and was towed behind a Jaguar XF Sportbrake driven by Philip Talboys. During the stunt, Graham Bell set a new record for fastest towed speed on skis with a speed of 117.48 MPH or 189.07 KMH. The previous fastest time was 112 KMH. Impressive!

According to, the attempt took place at test facility owned by Jaguar Land Rover in far northern Sweden in the Arctic Circle. It was -28 C (-18 F) during the attempt.
