La Grave, France is a skiing, mountaineering, and cycling paradise. It’s an authentic town with genuine character that appeals to mountain enthusiasts from around the world. But the one thing that ties the town to the mountains is it’s iconic and legendary Téléphérique.
That lift is due for a new lease and their is a serious threat that large corporations will bid on the contract and change the dynamics of the town, the community, and the mountains. This is why Signal de La Grave has turned to a grassroots crowdfunding campaign to safeguard their community and protect the mountains that they love.
As of this post, they have raised 86% of €45,000 of their funding goals on IndieGogo.com. Stop by and make a donation to save La Grave. They need your help by December 8, 2016.

Deep in the Southern French Alps lies the 12th century village of La Grave. A world renowned outdoor Valhalla with a unique atmosphere. The lift that makes the community thrive is about to be taken over by a large corporation that wants to engulf this authentic ski village. We believe La Grave belongs to the community.
So, let’s take matters into our own hands and preserve this place!
