Forecast: Mount Rainier – 162 in, Mount Baker – 70 in.
The NOAA forecast for Mount Rainier is calling for 164 inches of snow by Monday. That’s over 13 FEET of snow at the upper elevations of 14,411′ Mount Rainier.
The forecast calls for 65 MPH winds and temps in the 20-30 degree range. Snow will drop to as low as 4,000′ by Sunday. The area is in a Winter Storm Warning through Monday afternoon.
Mount Baker in the North Cascades is expected to get 70″ of snow in the next few days.
