Popocateptl Volcano, Mexico – At 8:19 am on July 2, 2017 ,Mexico’s Popocatepetl volcano spewed ash and smoke two kilometers into the air. The eruption was caught on camera. It’s pretty impressive!
Popocatepetl is 5,426 meter tall active stratovolcano. It is the 2nd highest peak in Mexico. (Wikipedia). In Aztec, Popocatepetl means smoking mountain.
