Prohaska trained for 2 years in order to climb the peak. She was part of a trip that was led by her father. They climbed the mountain via the King’s Trench route. The round trip mountain journey took three weeks to complete.
Mount Logan is the highest peak in Canada with a summit of 5,959 meters. It is the second highest peak in North America after Denali. It is located in Kluane National Park Reserve near the Yukon/Alaska border. It was first climbed on June 23, 1925. Learn more about Mount Logan on Wikipedia.com.
