Buryatia, Russia – On May 30, 2018 an avalanche hit a residential trailer with two mining workers inside at Kvartsevaya near the Irokind village in the Muysky district in Buryatia in Russia. Unfortunately one of the mining workers did not survive the avalanche.
Prior to the avalanche, “explosive geological and prospecting work was conducted in the tunnel nearby” (Babr24.com). An investigation will take place.
