Honnold And Caldwell Climb The Nose On El Cap In Under 2 Hours!

The Nose, El Capitan – On June 6, 2018 Alex Honnold and Tommy Caldwell set yet another speed record on The Nose (VI 5.8 A2) on El Capitan in Yosemite National Park. This time they broke the two hour mark with a time of 1 hour, 58 minutes, 7 seconds!

These climbing superheroes has been absolutely crushing it lately. On May 30, they set a new speed record of 2 hours, 10 minutes, 15 seconds. On June 4 they broke their own speed record with a time of 2 hours, 1 minute, 50 seconds.

Now they’ve broken the sub-2 hour mark. Unreal! According to Climbing.com, this is approximately their 10th time on the route in two weeks.
