Mammoth, California – In Fall 2018, Mammoth Mountain plans to open a 2100 vertical foot zip line called the Mammoth Mega Zip. The MMZ will boast the biggest vertical drop of any zip experience in the US. It will run from the mountain’s 11,053-foot summit to the Main Mountain Lodge. Zippers can reach speeds up to 55 MPH.
Mammoth is now owned by Alterra Mountain Company and there will also add Via Ferrata,, ropes courses, and other summer activities to Mammoth Mountain.
