Charmey, France – On January 19, 2019 a ski tourer was killed in an avalanche in the Gros Mont region near Charmey in the Fribourg Prealps of Switzerland.
The accident occurred as a group of 14 triggered a slide near La Rupa. Three people were caught. A 55-year-old was killed and two others were injured in the accident.
