Kashmir, India – On January 22, 2019 an avalanche caught, buried, and killed 2 villagers in the Kawana Trigam Village in the Ramban district of Jammu & Kashmir in India. Two others are still missing.
The victims were on their way home when they were struck by the avalanche. Rescuers are still trying to locate the two missing individuals.

UPDATE 1/23: According to GreaterKashmir.com the two missing individuals were rescued and taken to the hospital.
