We all know it’s been a warm winter with less snowfall than expected. If you’re a backcountry skier or ski mountaineer who’s still keen to go skiing, it’s interesting to take a look at the snow data for the western US compared to normal.

While places like Montana are still doing ok, it’s sad to see the West Coast is not – a scary forecast as to what might come this summer. Cross your fingers for precipitation!
