Livigno, Italy – On February 3, 2019 a 24-year-old Belgian snowboarder was killed in an avalanche while riding off-piste near Livigno in Sondrio, Italy.
The victim was riding with a friend at the time of the accident. They left the main area when he accident occurred. The friend alerted authorities. Rescuers responded and located the victim under 2 meters of snow.
