Salang Pass, Afghanistan – On January 24, 2017 two women and a man were killed in an avalanche on the Salang Highway on Salang Pass in the Hindu Kush Mountains in the Baghlan province of Afghanistan.
The victims died after their cars became trapped in an avalanche after heavy snowfall. The bodies were recovered on Monday and on Tuesday.
