Sisian, Armenia – On December 5, 2018 an group of Armenian soldiers were caught in an an avalanche in the mountains near Sisian in the Syunik region in southern Armenia.
Rescuers located three soldiers alive. According to Aysor.am, a search took place for the 4th soldier, but he did not survive. Haqqin.az identified the victim as Hayk Karamyan.
