Troms, Norway – On Thursday, March 29, 2018 a snowshoer was killed in an avalanche in Kildal near Storslett in Nordreisa in Troms in Norway.
The small avalanche came from steep terrain and swept the person into the woods. The snowshoer was promptly recovered and first aid was initiated. Unfortunately the person was declared dead at the scene at 19:24.
DagBladet.no identified the victim as 35-year-old Børre Sakshaug.
