
Vallorcine, France – On Sunday, March 4, 2018 a Belgian skier was killed in an avalanche while skiing off-piste near the resort of Vallorcine in the Rang sector of the Haute-Savoie of France.
The avalanche occurred while a group of 3 Belgians were skiing off piste with a mountain guide. One individual died in the slide and another was seriously injured after going over rocks. The 3rd skier and guide were unharmed. An investigation will be conducted.
