Osh, Kyrgyzstan – At approximately 5:30am on Sunday, February 19, 2017 an avalanche killed 2 children when 2 homes were buried in the village of Jash-Tilek in the Chon-Alai district in the Osh region of southern Kyrgyzstan.
Local villagers initiated the rescue. They found 11 people who were injured. Unfortunately, 2 children did not survive. They were found at 11:00 and 11:40.
