- Avalanche Closes Alaska’s Hatcher Pass Road | One Backcountry Skier Missing – MountainJourney.com – Extreme avalanche conditions in Alaska closed a road in 15 feet of debris. Liam Walsh has been missing in the area for nearly a week. The search has been put on hold until conditions stabilize.
