- Avalanche Kills Two Skiers In Popular Backcountry Zone Near Jackson Hole Mountain Resort – A Mountain Journey – A group of 3 skiers triggered an avalanche on Ralphs Slide in Rock Creek – a lift accessed backcountry area. Two people were swept over a cliff and died. RIP.
- 15-Year-Old Student Dies In Avalanche In Kashmir – A Mountain Journey – Three students were buried in an avalanche in Kashmir. A 15-year-old student died as a result of his injuries.
- 1 Dead, 1 Injured In Avalanche on Mt Herman Near Mt Baker, Washington – A Mountain Journey – A skier died in an avalanche on the north side of Mt Herman in the North Cascades.
