Watch this stunning short film about legendary Rifle, CO climber and founder of Wolverine Publishing Dave Pegg. Pegg was a “climber, guidebook author, prolific route developer and de facto King of Rifle.” Unfortunately, Pegg took his own life in November 2014. But Pegg and his climbing routes will always be remembered. In this film, “Chossaneer” Dan Mirsky remembers Dave by finishing a route that Dave had started and calling it The Width of Life.

With his passing, many of his projects were left unfinished, some of them still partially bolted dreams. Now, Black Diamond Ambassador Dan Mirsky returns to the Western Slope, learning how to bolt and clean, hoping to finish and climb a striking line, paying homage to the man who lived a life of width.
