RMI Guide Brent Okita Sets New Record For Most Summits Of Mt. Rainier

Mt Rainier, Washington – According to PRWeb.com, in June 2017, Brent Okita, a professional mountain guide with RMI, set the record for the most summits of 14,411′ Mt. Rainier in Washington. Okita has now summited the peak 520 times! Congrats!

Only two people have summited Mt. Rainier more than 500 times – George Dunn of IMG and Okita. Okita tagged his 500th summit in June 2016. He averages 20 summits a summer. In his 31-year-career, Okita has logged over 9.3 million vertical feet on Rainier!

Okita is 56-years-old and has worked with RMI Expeditions since 1986 as “a professional climbing instructor and guide.” His climbing and guiding resume include successful trips to Rainier, Everest, Vinson Massif, Denali, and numerous other international expeditions.
