Deer Valley Resort, Utah – On Monday, August 21, 2017 Deer Valley Resort announced that it will be acquired by the new ski resort company formed by Henry Crown and CO. and KSL Capital Partners earlier in 2017 for an undisclosed amount. The latest deal should be completed before the 2017/2018 ski season.

When this deal is finalized, the new ski resort company, which still has no name, will have a total of 13 resorts. It should directly compete with Vail Resorts.
Early in 2017, the newly formed ski resort company acquired:

- Aspen Skiing Company and KSL Partners Acquire Intrawest Resorts In $1.5 Billion Deal
