Avalanche Kills Skier On Col de Rombieres in Cantal, France


Cantal, France – On Saturday, December 16, 2017 a 49-year-old skier was killed in an avalanche while skiing on the Col de Rombieres in the area of Font d’Alagnon near the ski area of Lioran in Laveissiere in Cantal, France.

The skier was reported missing on Saturday night and mountain rescuers recovered the victim on Sunday round 14:30.
